New Home Development Approved in Chandler AZ Near Airport

Residents are excited about new home development approval that will feature 90 two-story new homes in Chandler, AZ.  


It was May 8th, and on a rare split vote of 4-3, Chandler City Council went against the strong recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission and approved a new housing development next to Chandler Municipal Airport.
Proposed to deal with the city's balance of growth and development near the airport and the balancing of retail options in the city, in rare fashion--was approved.  
Located on Arizona Ave. and Queen Creek Rd at the northeast corner, this new Chandler home development is going to showcase master-planned upgraded homes. .

This premium Chandler area will also feature future light-rail development making it attractive to new home buyers.
The new development will have 90 new homes, built for lovers of luxury and will be supported by full time staff.
In addition to the rising amount of retail options for residents in the area, employment options are also abundant in this new development.
In 2012, a study revealed that Chandler's retail space was more than the national average and home builders have taken notice.
Types of homes being built will be a mixture of single and multi-family, with commercial space occupying spaces nearer to the intersections.  
There will be 90 Two-Story new homes on the 14 acre-lot.  It will feature a cluster-home look where homes will share the driveway.  
This new development is modern, updated and attractive with plenty of open space and walking-trails.  These homes for sale in Chandler are expected to attract many new home buyer’s.
Other approvals are also in the mix.  One apartment complex and one group on condominiums.
The apartment complex is located on the Northeast corner of McClintock Dr. and Chandler Blvd.  It will feature 280 units on 11 acres of property.  
The condominiums at ‘Waters at Ocotillo’ will be 76 in total and be located on about 8 acres of property near the Southeast corner of Dobson Rd and Market Place.
